East Bernard Brahmas (East Bernard, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Hitchcock Bulldogs (Hitchcock, TX), 12-0 in a league challenge.

The Brahmas now own a 16-6 record. They take the field next when they host Boling for a 3A Region III District 24 challenge on Tuesday, April 2. East Bernard will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 15-0 league loss to Danbury (Danbury, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 4-6.

With the loss, Hitchcock falls to 4-8 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Brazos (Wallis, TX) to face the Cougars in a 3A Region III District 24 challenge on Tuesday, April 2. The Cougars enter the challenge with a record of 9-14. Brazos lost 14-1 in their recent league challenge against Hempstead (Hempstead, TX)
