The Elkins Elks softball team scored 9 runs and limited the host Flippin Bobcats to 2 in the Elks league triumph on Thursday.

With the triumph, Elkins improves its record to 5-6 on the year. The Elks host Springdale (Springdale, AR) to clash with the Bulldogs in a non-league game on Friday, March 29. The Bulldogs come into the game with a record of 1-10. Springdale lost 10-8 in their recent league game against Northside (Fort Smith, AR)

In their next game, the Bobcats clash with the Lincoln Wolves (Lincoln, AR) in a 3A Region 1 game, on Monday, April 1. Flippin will attempt to improve on its 4-5 season record.
