Texas High School Softball - Frisco bounces Newman Smith

The crowd at Thursday's league match between the Frisco Raccoons (Frisco, TX) and the visiting Newman Smith Trojans (Carrollton, TX), saw Frisco's softball squad achieve victory over Newman Smith by a count of 15-2.

The Raccoons now sport a 4-16 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lone Star for a 5A Region II District 9 test on Tuesday, April 2. Frisco will clash with a Rangers team coming off a 18-2 league win over Creekview (Carrollton, TX). The Rangers record now stands at 19-5.

The Trojans (8-16) will now prepare for their test against Wakeland (Frisco, TX). The Wolverines come into the 5A Region II District 9 test with a 14-6 record. In their last test, Wakeland overcame Reedy (Frisco, TX), 8-0, in a league test.
