Greenway Demons (Phoenix, AZ) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Shadow Mountain Matadors (Phoenix, AZ), 18-7 in a league challenge.

The Demons now own a 9-7 record. They take the field next when they host Flagstaff for a non-league challenge on Monday, April 1. Greenway will face a Eagles squad coming off a 20-0 league win over Mingus (Cottonwood, AZ). The Eagles record now stands at 11-6.

With the loss, Shadow Mountain falls to 1-9 on the campaign. The Matadors travel to Greenway (Phoenix, AZ) to face the Demons in a 4A Skyline challenge on Tuesday, April 2. The Demons enter the challenge with a record of 9-7.
