Pearce Mustangs (Richardson, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Highland Park Scots (Dallas, TX), 11-3 in a league challenge.

The Mustangs now own a 4-11 record. They take the field next when they host Berkner for a 6A Region I District 7 challenge on Tuesday, April 2. Pearce will face a Rams squad coming off a 23-1 league loss to Irving (Irving, TX). The Rams record now stands at 3-6.

With the loss, Highland Park falls to 10-13 on the campaign. The Scots host Lake Highlands (Dallas, TX) to face the Wildcats in a 6A Region I District 7 challenge on Tuesday, April 2. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a record of 3-10. Lake Highlands won 10-0 in their recent league challenge against Irving (Irving, TX)
