Texas High School Softball - Hondo loses to Lytle

March 28, 2024: Hondo, TX 78861

The Lytle Pirates softball team scored 21 runs and limited the host Hondo Owls to 11 in the Pirates league triumph on Thursday.

With the triumph, Lytle improves its record to 6-12 on the year. The Pirates host Crystal City (Crystal City, TX) to clash with the Javelinas in a 3A Region IV District 28 game on Tuesday, April 2. The Javelinas come into the game with a record of 3-10. Crystal City lost 10-5 in their recent league game against Cotulla (Cotulla, TX)

In their next game, the Owls clash with the Natalia Mustangs (Natalia, TX) in a 3A Region IV District 28 game, on Tuesday, April 2. Hondo will attempt to improve on its 3-13 season record. The Mustangs come into the game with a 13-14 record after their 14-4 league win over Dilley (Dilley, TX).
