Ysleta Indians (El Paso, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Horizon Scorpions (El Paso, TX), 23-0 in a league challenge.

The Indians now own a 27-1 record. They take the field next when they host Del Valle for a 5A Region I District 2 challenge on Tuesday, April 2. Ysleta will face a Conquistadores squad coming off a 14-4 league win over Hanks (El Paso, TX). The Conquistadores record now stands at 19-2.

With the loss, Horizon falls to 9-14 on the campaign. The Scorpions travel to Bel Air (El Paso, TX) to face the Highlanders in a 5A Region I District 2 challenge on Tuesday, April 2. The Highlanders enter the challenge with a record of 12-9. Bel Air lost 15-5 in their recent league challenge against Parkland (El Paso, TX)
