Virginia High School Softball - Kettle Run holds off Skyline

Spectators at Thursday's league match between the Kettle Run Cougars (Nokesville, VA) and the host Skyline Hawks (Front Royal, VA), witnessed Kettle Run's softball squad tip Skyline by a count of 4-2.

The Cougars now sport a 5-2 record. They play next when they host Sherando for a Northwestern match on Monday, April 8. Kettle Run will face a Warriors squad coming off a 11-0 league win over Warren County (Front Royal, VA). The Warriors record now stands at 7-1.

With the loss, Skyline moves to 1-4 on the season. The Hawks host Manassas Park (Manassas Park, VA) to face the Cougars in a Northwestern match on Monday, April 8. The Cougars go into the match with a record of 0-1. Manassas Park lost 22-1 in their recent league match against Fauquier (Warrenton, VA)
