Tomball Memorial Wildcats (Tomball, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Klein Cain Hurricanes (Houston, TX), 7-5 in a league challenge.

The Wildcats now own a 11-10 record. They take the field next when they host Klein Forest for a 6A Region II District 15 challenge on Tuesday, April 2. Tomball Memorial will face a Eagles squad coming off a 20-0 league loss to Waller (Waller, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 2-17.

With the loss, Klein Cain falls to 3-16 on the campaign. The Hurricanes travel to Klein (Klein, TX) to face the Bearkats in a 6A Region II District 15 challenge on Tuesday, April 2. The Bearkats go into the match with a record of 12-11. Klein lost 4-2 in their recent league match against Tomball (Tomball, TX)
