Texas High School Softball - Vandegrift bounces McNeil

Spectators at Thursday's league match between the Vandegrift Vipers (Austin, TX) and the visiting McNeil Mavericks (Austin, TX), witnessed Vandegrift's softball squad prevail over McNeil by a count of 18-8.

The Vipers now sport a 8-11 record. They play next when they host Round Rock for a 6A Region IV District 25 match on Tuesday, April 2. Vandegrift will meet a Dragons squad coming off a 10-0 league win over Manor (Manor, TX). The Dragons record now stands at 12-10.

With the loss, McNeil moves to 1-13 on the season. The Mavericks host Round Rock Westwood (Austin, TX) to meet the Warriors in a 6A Region IV District 25 match on Tuesday, April 2.
