The Porter Spartans softball team scored 10 runs and limited the visiting Nacogdoches Dragons to 0 in the Spartans league triumph on Thursday.

With the triumph, Porter moves its record to 11-10 on the year. The Spartans travel to Huntsville (Huntsville, TX) to clash with the Hornets in a 5A Region II District 16 game on Tuesday, April 2. The Hornets come into the game with a record of 22-3. Huntsville won 3-0 in their recent league game against Dayton (Dayton, TX)

In their next game, the Dragons clash with the Lufkin Panthers (Lufkin, TX) in a 5A Region II District 16 game, on Tuesday, April 2. Nacogdoches will attempt to move on its 11-6 season record. The Panthers come into the game with a 15-9 record after their 3-1 league win over Kingwood Park (Kingwood, TX).
