With the triumph, Alexander Central advances its record to 7-6 on the season. The Cougars host Freedom (Morganton, NC) to battle the Patriots in a Northwestern 3A/4A match on Tuesday, April 1. The Patriots come into the match with a record of 6-7. Freedom lost 14-1 in their recent league match against Watauga (Boone, NC)

The Panthers now have a 8-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host South Caldwell for a Northwestern 3A/4A match on Tuesday, April 1. Hibriten will battle a Spartans squad coming off a 8-1 league win over Ashe County (West Jefferson, NC). The Spartans record now stands at 12-0.
