In Friday's league bout, the Hayfield Hawks (Alexandria, VA) baseball squad overwhelmed the host Annandale Atoms (Annandale, VA), by a tally of 22-4.
Next up, the Hawks encounter the Thomas Jefferson Science & Technology Colonials (Alexandria, VA) in a National bout, on Tuesday, April 1. Hayfield will attempt to upgrade on its 3-3 season record. The Colonials enter the bout with a 1-0 record after their 5-3 league win over Falls Church (Falls Church, VA).
