The Beaufort Eagles (Beaufort, SC) baseball trounced the visiting Hilton Head Island Seahawks (Hilton Head Island, SC), 13-3 in Friday's league challenge.
The Eagles now own a 6-6 record. They take the field next when they host Bishop England for a 4A Region 7 challenge on Monday, March 31. Beaufort will clash with a Battling Bishops team coming off a 4-0 league win over May River (Bluffton, SC). The Battling Bishops record now stands at 8-5.
With the defeat, Hilton Head Island drops to 3-10 on the year. The Seahawks host Colleton County (Walterboro, SC) to clash with the Cougars in a 4A Region 7 challenge on Monday, March 31. The Cougars go into the challenge with a record of 3-7. Colleton County lost 13-1 in their recent league challenge against Bluffton (Bluffton, SC)
