The Lucy Beckham Bengals baseball team scored 2 runs and held the visiting Berkeley Stags to 0 in the Bengals league win on Friday.
The Bengals now own a 5-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Stratford for a 5A Region 6 test on Monday, March 31. Lucy Beckham will clash with a Knights team coming off a 12-6 league win over Wando (Mt. Pleasant, SC). The Knights record now stands at 6-2.
With the defeat, Berkeley drops to 5-5 on the year. The Stags host Goose Creek (Goose Creek, SC) to clash with the Gators in a 5A Region 6 test on Monday, March 31. The Gators go into the test with a record of 4-4. Goose Creek won 4-2 in their recent league test against Cane Bay (Summerville, SC)
