In Friday's league game, the visiting North Pike Jaguars baseball team scored a nice 23-8 win over the Brookhaven Panthers.
The Jaguars (15-6) will now prepare for their game against Franklin County (Meadville, MS). The Bulldogs go into the non-league game with a 10-5 record.
Next, the Panthers play the South Jones Braves (Ellisville, MS) in a 5A Region 3 game, on Tuesday, April 1. Brookhaven will attempt to improve on its 7-8 season record. The Braves go into the game with a 13-6 record after their 5-4 league loss to Florence (Florence, MS).
