Georgia High School Baseball - Glenn Hills loses to Burke County

In Friday's league bout, the Burke County Bears (Waynesboro, GA) baseball squad overwhelmed the visiting Glenn Hills Spartans (Augusta, GA), by a tally of 15-0.

Next up, the Bears encounter the Thomson Bulldogs (Thomson, GA) in a AA Region 4 bout, on Tuesday, April 1. Burke County will attempt to upgrade on its 9-9 season record. The Bulldogs enter the bout with a 13-4 record after their 18-0 league win over Butler (Augusta, GA).

The Spartans (0-8) will now prepare for their bout against Hephzibah (Hephzibah, GA). The Rebels enter the non-league bout with a 6-13 record. In their last bout, Hephzibah was overwhelmed by Academy of Richmond County (Augusta, GA), 17-2, in a league bout.
