Louisiana High School Baseball - New Iberia wallops Carencro

In Friday's league game, the visiting New Iberia Yellowjackets baseball team scored a nice 12-0 win over the Carencro Bears.

The Yellowjackets (18-10) will now prepare for their game against Carencro (Lafayette, LA). The Bears go into the 5A District 3 game with a 5-20 record. In their last game, Carencro was overwhelmed by Sam Houston (Lake Charles, LA), 17-3, in a league game.

Next, the Bears play the New Iberia Yellowjackets (New Iberia, LA) in a 5A District 3 game, on Saturday, March 29. Carencro will attempt to improve on its 5-21 season record. The Yellowjackets go into the game with a 17-10 record after their 10-1 league loss to Sulphur (Sulphur, LA).
