The Catholic Bears baseball team scored 8 runs and held the visiting Central Wildcats to 1 in the Bears league win on Friday.

The Bears now hold a 22-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to St. Martin's Episcopal for a non-league test on Monday, March 31.

With the defeat, Central drops to 19-8 on the year. The Wildcats travel to Liberty Magnet (Baton Rouge, LA) to play the Patriots in a 5A District 4 test on Tuesday, April 1. The Patriots go into the test with a record of 11-11. Liberty Magnet lost 10-0 in their recent league test against Zachary (Zachary, LA)
