In Friday's league bout, the Smithsburg Leopards (Smithsburg, MD) baseball squad edged the visiting Catoctin Cougars (Thurmont, MD), by a tally of 7-6.
Next up, the Leopards encounter the Williamsport Wildcats (Williamsport, MD) in a CMC bout, on Monday, March 31. Smithsburg will attempt to upgrade on its 3-1 season record.
The Cougars (0-3) will now prepare for their bout against Brunswick (Brunswick, MD). The Railroaders enter the CMC bout with a 1-1 record.
