North Carolina High School Baseball - South Columbus wallops East Columbus

March 28, 2025: Lake Waccamaw, NC 28450

The South Columbus Stallions (Tabor City, NC) baseball trounced the host East Columbus Gators (Lake Waccamaw, NC), 12-2 in Friday's league challenge.

The Stallions now own a 8-2 record. They take the field next when they host West Columbus for a Waccamaw 1A/2A challenge on Tuesday, April 1. South Columbus will clash with a Vikings team coming off a 4-2 league loss to Whiteville (Whiteville, NC). The Vikings record now stands at 3-7.

With the defeat, East Columbus drops to 6-4 on the year. The Gators host Whiteville (Whiteville, NC) to clash with the Wolfpack in a Waccamaw 1A/2A challenge on Tuesday, April 1. The Wolfpack go into the challenge with a record of 9-0. Whiteville won 4-2 in their recent league challenge against West Columbus (Cerro Gordo, NC)
