North Carolina High School Baseball - South Stokes edged by East Wilkes

The South Stokes Sauras baseball squad (Walnut Cove, NC), was edged 8-7 in Friday's league contest with the host East Wilkes Cardinals (Ronda, NC)

With the triumph, East Wilkes moves its record to 7-3 on the season. The Cardinals host Alleghany (Sparta, NC) to confront the Trojans in a Northwest 1A contest on Tuesday, April 1. The Trojans come into the contest with a record of 2-11. Alleghany lost 7-0 in their recent league contest against North Stokes (Danbury, NC)

The Sauras now possess a 6-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Providence Grove for a non-league contest on Monday, March 31. South Stokes will confront a Patriots squad coming off a 5-2 non-league win over Southern Alamance (Graham, NC). The Patriots record now stands at 6-4.
