The Levelland Lobos (Levelland, TX) baseball trounced the host Estacado Matadors (Lubbock, TX), 17-8 in Friday's league challenge.

The Lobos now own a 13-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Big Spring for a 4A Region I District 5 challenge on Friday, April 4.

With the defeat, Estacado drops to 8-12 on the year. The Matadors travel to Snyder (Snyder, TX) to clash with the Tigers in a 4A Region I District 5 challenge on Monday, March 31. The Tigers go into the challenge with a record of 4-13. Snyder won 6-5 in their recent league challenge against Big Spring (Big Spring, TX)
