The Franklin County Lions (Carnesville, GA) baseball trounced the visiting Hart County Bulldogs (Hartwell, GA), 11-1 in Friday's league challenge.

The Lions now own a 15-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to East Jackson for a AA Region 8 challenge on Monday, March 31. Franklin County will clash with a Eagles team coming off a 13-3 league loss to Prince Avenue Christian (Athens, GA). The Eagles record now stands at 10-11.

With the defeat, Hart County drops to 8-13 on the year. The Bulldogs host Stephens County (Toccoa, GA) to clash with the Indians in a AA Region 8 challenge on Monday, March 31. The Indians go into the challenge with a record of 13-5. Stephens County won 8-5 in their recent league challenge against Hebron Christian (Dacula, GA)
