Kentucky High School Baseball - Washington County nips Green County

March 28, 2025: Springfield, KY 40069

The Washington County Commanders baseball team scored 11 runs and held the visiting Green County Dragons to 10 in the Commanders non-league win on Friday.

The Commanders now own a 5-3 record. They take the field next when they host Adair County for a non-league test on Monday, March 31.

With the defeat, Green County drops to 1-4 on the year. The Dragons travel to Bardstown (Bardstown, KY) to clash with the Tigers in a non-league test on Tuesday, April 1. The Tigers go into the test with a record of 0-5. Bardstown lost 20-3 in their recent non-league test against Larue County (Hodgenville, KY)
