Line Mountain Eagles (Herndon, PA) followers left the game pleased Friday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Greenwood Wildcats (Millerstown, PA), 14-12 in a league match.
With the triumph, Line Mountain moves its record to 1-4 on the season. The Eagles host St. Joseph (Natrona Heights, PA) to battle the Spartans in a non-league match on Monday, March 31. The Spartans come into the match with a record of 0-3. St. Joseph lost 15-1 in their recent league match against Winchester Thurston (Pittsburgh, PA)
The Wildcats now possess a 0-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Halifax for a Tri-Valley match on Monday, March 31. Greenwood will battle a Wildcats squad coming off a 14-4 league win over Upper Dauphin Area (Elizabethville, PA). The Wildcats record now stands at 3-1.
