The Hillsboro Burros baseball team scored 6 runs and held the host Nashville Christian Eagles to 5 in the Burros non-league win on Friday.
The Burros now own a 9-5 record. They take the field next when they host Antioch for a non-league test on Monday, March 31. Hillsboro will clash with a Bears team coming off a 14-0 non-league loss to Martin Luther King Jr. Magnet (Nashville, TN). The Bears record now stands at 0-8.
With the defeat, Nashville Christian drops to 5-5 on the year. The Eagles travel to Clarksville Academy (Clarksville, TN) to clash with the Cougars in a D II-A Middle 4 test on Monday, March 31. The Cougars go into the test with a record of 12-5. Clarksville Academy lost 4-2 in their recent non-league test against Fairview (Cullman, AL)
