The West Mecklenburg Hawks baseball squad (Charlotte, NC), was overwhelmed 18-2 in Friday's league contest with the visiting Hough Huskies (Cornelius, NC)

With the triumph, Hough moves its record to 9-3 on the season. The Huskies travel to West Charlotte (Charlotte, NC) to confront the Lions in a Queen City 3A/4A contest on Tuesday, April 1. The Lions come into the contest with a record of 0-7.

The Hawks now possess a 8-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host North Mecklenburg for a Queen City 3A/4A contest on Tuesday, April 1. West Mecklenburg will confront a Vikings squad coming off a 11-6 league loss to Mallard Creek (Charlotte, NC). The Vikings record now stands at 6-7.
