In Friday's league bout, the Lafayette Commodores (Oxford, MS) baseball squad nipped the visiting Pontotoc Warriors (Pontotoc, MS), by a score of 2-1.

Next up, the Commodores encounter the Olentangy Orange Pioneers (Lewis Center, OH) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, March 29. Lafayette will attempt to advance on its 13-6 season record.
