Louisiana High School Baseball - Welsh defeats Lake Arthur

March 28, 2025: Welsh, LA 70591

The Welsh Greyhounds baseball team scored 10 runs and held the visiting Lake Arthur Tigers to 5 in the Greyhounds league win on Friday.

The Greyhounds now own a 15-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Notre Dame for a 2A District 6 test on Monday, March 31. Welsh will clash with a Pioneers team coming off a 15-0 league win over Midland (Midland, LA). The Pioneers record now stands at 15-10.

With the defeat, Lake Arthur drops to 11-15 on the year. The Tigers host Lacassine (Lacassine, LA) to clash with the Cardinals in a non-league test on Wednesday, April 2. The Cardinals go into the test with a record of 9-11.
