The Winfield Generals (Winfield, WV) baseball got by the visiting Logan Wildcats (Logan, WV), 5-4 in Friday's non-league challenge.
The Generals now own a 7-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Wayne for a challenge on Monday, March 31. Winfield will clash with a Pioneers team coming off a 8-3 non-league loss to Chapmanville Regional (Chapmanville, WV). The Pioneers record now stands at 1-5.
With the defeat, Logan drops to 1-1 on the year. The Wildcats travel to Charleston Catholic (Charleston, WV) to clash with the Irish in a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 29. The Irish go into the challenge with a record of 2-0. Charleston Catholic won 7-3 in their recent non-league challenge against Chapmanville Regional (Chapmanville, WV)
