Mississippi High School Baseball - Mendenhall wallops Pelahatchie

March 28, 2025: Mendenhall, MS 39114

The Mendenhall Tigers (Mendenhall, MS) baseball trounced the visiting Pelahatchie Chiefs (Pelahatchie, MS), 11-1 in Friday's non-league challenge.

The Tigers now own a 5-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Northeast Lauderdale for a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 29. Mendenhall will clash with a Trojans team coming off a 11-1 league loss to West Lauderdale (Collinsville, MS). The Trojans record now stands at 7-9.

With the defeat, Pelahatchie drops to 6-13 on the year. The Chiefs host St. Andrew's Episcopal (Ridgeland, MS) to clash with the Saints in a 2A Region 6 challenge on Tuesday, April 1. The Saints go into the challenge with a record of 13-6. St. Andrew's Episcopal won 14-8 in their recent league challenge against Puckett (Puckett, MS)
