The St. Clair County Fighting Saints baseball team scored 3 runs and held the host Munford Lions to 2 in the Fighting Saints non-league win on Friday.

The Fighting Saints now own a 14-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lincoln for a 5A Area 11 test on Tuesday, April 1. St. Clair County will clash with a Golden Bears team coming off a 18-6 non-league loss to Arlington (Arlington, TN). The Golden Bears record now stands at 15-10.

With the defeat, Munford drops to 11-6 on the year. The Lions travel to Arab (Arab, AL) to clash with the Knights in a non-league test on Saturday, March 29. The Knights go into the test with a record of 14-10. Arab won 6-4 in their recent non-league test against New Hope (New Hope, AL)
