The crowd at Friday's league battle between the Oconee County Warriors (Watkinsville, GA) and the host West Hall Spartans (Oakwood, GA), saw Oconee County's baseball team gain a win over West Hall by a tally of 7-5.

The Warriors (16-5) will now prepare for their battle against Cherokee Bluff (Flowery Branch, GA). The Bears enter the AAA Region 8 battle with a 13-8 record. In their last battle, Cherokee Bluff held off Jefferson (Jefferson, GA), 13-5, in a league test.

With the defeat, West Hall drops to 6-15 on the year. The Spartans host East Hall (Gainesville, GA) to clash with the Vikings in a AAA Region 8 test on Tuesday, April 1. The Vikings go into the test with a record of 6-15. East Hall lost 12-1 in their recent league test against Monroe Area (Monroe, GA)
