The Richland Royals baseball team scored 11 runs and held the host Ryan Raiders to 0 in the Royals league win on Friday.

The Royals now own a 10-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Arlington Heights for a non-league test on Saturday, March 29. Richland will clash with a Yellowjackets team coming off a 6-3 league loss to Paschal (Fort Worth, TX). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 12-6.

With the defeat, Ryan drops to 10-9 on the year. The Raiders host Grapevine (Grapevine, TX) to clash with the Mustangs in a 5A Region I District 7 test on Tuesday, April 1. The Mustangs go into the test with a record of 17-2. Grapevine won 8-3 in their recent league test against Denton (Denton, TX)
