Georgia High School Baseball - Sequoyah nips Riverwood

The Sequoyah Chiefs baseball team scored 6 runs and held the visiting Riverwood Raiders to 5 in the Chiefs league win on Friday.
The Chiefs now own a 11-11 record. They take the field next when they travel to Woodstock for a AAAAA Region 6 test on Thursday, April 3. Sequoyah will play a Wolverines team coming off a 12-3 league loss to Pope (Marietta, GA). The Wolverines record now stands at 6-14.
With the defeat, Riverwood drops to 8-11 on the year. The Raiders travel to Pope (Marietta, GA) to play the Greyhounds in a AAAAA Region 6 test on Tuesday, April 1. The Greyhounds go into the test with a record of 18-3. Pope won 12-3 in their recent league test against Woodstock (Woodstock, GA)
