Kentucky High School Baseball - Russell County edges Southwestern

In Friday's non-league game, the visiting Russell County Lakers baseball team scored a close 8-6 win over the Southwestern Warriors.

The Lakers (6-1) will now prepare for their game against Boyle County (Danville, KY). The Rebels go into the non-league game with a 3-3 record. In their last game, Boyle County by Frankfort (Frankfort, KY), 1-0, in a non-league game.

Next, the Warriors play the Pulaski County Maroons (Somerset, KY) in a non-league game, on Saturday, March 29. Southwestern will attempt to improve on its 4-4 season record. The Maroons go into the game with a 4-1 record after their 11-1 non-league win over Model (Richmond, KY).
