California High School Baseball - Santa Cruz defeats Scotts Valley

The Santa Cruz Cardinals baseball team scored 9 runs and held the host Scotts Valley Falcons to 2 in the Cardinals league win on Friday.

The Cardinals now hold a 4-2 record. They take the field next when they host San Lorenzo Valley for a Santa Cruz Coast test on Tuesday, April 1. Santa Cruz will play a Cougars team coming off a 8-0 league loss to Harbor (Santa Cruz, CA). The Cougars record now stands at 1-8.

With the defeat, Scotts Valley drops to 5-6 on the year. The Falcons host Palma (Salinas, CA) to play the Chieftains in a non-league test on Saturday, March 29. The Chieftains go into the test with a record of 7-2. Palma won 12-0 in their recent league test against Salinas (Salinas, CA)
