North Carolina High School Baseball - Sun Valley loses to South Mecklenburg

March 28, 2025: Charlotte, NC 28210

South Mecklenburg Sabres (Charlotte, NC) followers left the game satisfied Friday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Sun Valley Spartans (Monroe, NC), 11-1 in a non-league match.

With the triumph, South Mecklenburg moves its record to 10-6 on the season. The Sabres host Ardrey Kell (Charlotte, NC) to confront the Knights in a So Meck 4A match on Tuesday, April 1. The Knights come into the match with a record of 8-5. Ardrey Kell lost 2-0 in their recent league match against Myers Park (Charlotte, NC)

The Spartans now possess a 8-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Weddington for a Southern Carolina 4A match on Tuesday, April 1. Sun Valley will confront a Warriors squad coming off a 2-0 league win over Porter Ridge (Indian Trail, NC). The Warriors record now stands at 9-2.
