The Triton Hawks baseball team scored 13 runs and held the host Westover Wolverines to 0 in the Hawks league win on Friday.
The Hawks now own a 8-6 record. They take the field next when they host Gray's Creek for a non-league test on Monday, March 31. Triton will clash with a Bears team coming off a 9-6 league win over Purnell Swett (Pembroke, NC). The Bears record now stands at 7-6.
With the defeat, Westover drops to 0-9 on the year. The Wolverines host Overhills (Spring Lake, NC) to clash with the Jaguars in a All American 3A/4A test on Tuesday, April 1. The Jaguars go into the test with a record of 7-4. Overhills won 9-3 in their recent league test against Western Harnett (Lillington, NC)
