In Friday's non-league challenge, the host McClintock Chargers volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Sunnyside Blue Devils.
The Chargers (8-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Benjamin Franklin (Queen Creek, AZ). The Chargers come into the non-league challenge with a 3-3 record. In their last challenge, Benjamin Franklin beat Scottsdale Christian Academy (Phoenix, AZ), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Blue Devils play the Mica Mountain Thunderbolts (Tucson, AZ) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, April 1. Sunnyside will attempt to upgrade on its 7-6 season record. The Thunderbolts come into the challenge with a 12-4 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Sunrise Mountain (Peoria, AZ).
