North Carolina High School Soccer - Cornerstone Charter knocks off River Mill

Fans at Friday's non-league battle between the Cornerstone Charter Cardinals (Greensboro, NC) and the visiting River Mill Jaguars (Graham, NC), saw Cornerstone Charter's soccer squad triumph over River Mill by a count of 8-1.
The Cardinals (11-1) will now prepare for their battle against Phoenix Academy (High Point, NC). The Firebirds enter the non-league battle with a 0-4 record. In their last battle, Phoenix Academy was overwhelmed by North Stokes (Danbury, NC), 4-0, in a non-league battle.
Next up, the Jaguars battle the Southern Wake Academy Lions (Holly Springs, NC) in a Central Tar Heel 1A battle, on Monday, March 31. River Mill will attempt to upgrade on its 4-5 season record. The Lions enter the battle with a 3-2 record after their 7-1 league win over Ascend Leadership (Sanford, NC).
