The Ashley Screaming Eagle baseball team scored 7 runs and held the host South Brunswick Cougars to 2 in the Screaming Eagle non-league win on Friday.

The Screaming Eagle now own a 6-2 record. They take the field next when they host North Brunswick for a non-league test on Tuesday, April 1. Ashley will play a Scorpions team coming off a 6-2 non-league win over Laney (Wilmington, NC). The Scorpions record now stands at 8-2.

With the defeat, South Brunswick drops to 0-7 on the year. The Cougars travel to West Brunswick (Shallotte, NC) to play the Trojans in a non-league test on Tuesday, April 1. The Trojans go into the test with a record of 3-8. West Brunswick lost 6-3 in their recent non-league test against New Hanover (Wilmington, NC)
