North Carolina High School Baseball - New Hanover edges West Brunswick

March 28, 2025: Wilmington, NC 28401

The New Hanover Wildcats baseball team scored 6 runs and held the visiting West Brunswick Trojans to 3 in the Wildcats non-league win on Friday.

The Wildcats now own a 5-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Hoggard for a non-league test on Tuesday, April 1. New Hanover will play a Vikings team coming off a 10-8 non-league loss to Topsail (Hampstead, NC). The Vikings record now stands at 9-3.

With the defeat, West Brunswick drops to 3-8 on the year. The Trojans host South Brunswick (Southport, NC) to play the Cougars in a non-league test on Tuesday, April 1. The Cougars go into the test with a record of 0-7. South Brunswick lost 7-2 in their recent non-league test against Ashley (Wilmington, NC)
