In Friday's league test, the Calaveras Red Hawks (San Andreas, CA) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Riverbank Bruins (Riverbank, CA), by a tally of 21-1.
Next, the Red Hawks clash with the Amador Buffaloes (Sutter Creek, CA) in a non-league test, on Monday, March 31. Calaveras will attempt to advance on its 7-2 season record. The Buffaloes go into the test with a 5-4 record after their 17-7 league win over Galt (Galt, CA).
The Bruins (0-4) will now prepare for their test against Linden (Linden, CA). The Lions go into the test with a 8-1 record. In their last test, Linden prevailed over Summerville (Tuolumne, CA), 17-7, in a league test.
