The Porter Ridge Pirates (Indian Trail, NC) softball routed the visiting South Mecklenburg Sabres (Charlotte, NC), 19-5 in Friday's non-league outing.

The Pirates now sport a 2-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Marvin Ridge for a non-league outing on Friday, April 4.

With the loss, South Mecklenburg moves to 0-6 on the season. The Sabres travel to Hough (Cornelius, NC) to encounter the Huskies in a non-league outing on Friday, April 4. The Huskies come into the outing with a record of 7-1. Hough won 11-0 in their recent non-league outing against South Mecklenburg (Charlotte, NC)
