The Philip Simmons Iron Horses triumphed over the host Myrtle Beach Seahawks lacrosse team by a tally of 13-5 in Friday's non-league game.
Next up, the Iron Horses play the May River Sharks (Bluffton, SC) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, April 8. Philip Simmons will attempt to improve on its 6-3 season record.
The Seahawks (1-9) will now prepare for their game against St. James (Murrells Inlet, SC). The Sharks come into the 5A District 5 game with a 4-6 record. In their last game, St. James was overwhelmed by Socastee (Myrtle Beach, SC), 14-13, in a league game.
