St. Anne's-Belfield Saints (Charlottesville, VA) backers exited the stadium satisfied Friday as they saw their lacrosse team achieve victory over the visiting Paul VI Panthers (Chantilly, VA), 16-11 in a league game.

With the victory, St. Anne's-Belfield improves its record to 6-2 on the season. The Saints host Blue Ridge (St. George, VA) to play the Barons in a VISAA Division 1 game on Wednesday, April 2. The Barons come into the game with a record of 4-3. Blue Ridge won 10-7 in their recent non-league game against Woodberry Forest (Woodberry Forest, VA)

The Panthers now have a 4-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bishop Ireton for a Washington Catholic game on Saturday, March 29. Paul VI will play a Cardinals team coming off a 17-6 non-league loss to West Potomac (Alexandria, VA). The Cardinals record now stands at 2-4.
