Fans at Friday's league battle between the Portal Panthers (Portal, GA) and the visiting McIntosh County Academy Buccaneers (Darien, GA), saw Portal's soccer squad triumph over McIntosh County Academy by a count of 9-0.

The Panthers (7-3) will now prepare for their battle against Bulloch Academy (Statesboro, GA). The Gators enter the non-league battle with a 2-3 record. In their last battle, Bulloch Academy ran past Central Fellowship Christian Academy (Macon, GA), 3-2, in a non-league battle.

Next up, the Buccaneers confront the Bryan County Redskins (Pembroke, GA) in a 1A D-II Area 3 battle, on Tuesday, April 8. McIntosh County Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 0-10 season record. The Redskins enter the battle with a 1-9 record after their 10-0 league loss to Metter (Metter, GA).
