North Carolina High School Softball - A.L. Brown South Iredell

March 28, 2025: Kannapolis, NC 28083

South Iredell Vikings (Statesville, NC) backers left the game pleased Friday as they saw their softball squad nudge the host A.L. Brown Wonders (Kannapolis, NC), 10-5 in a league game.

With the triumph, South Iredell upgrades its record to 5-7 on the year. The Vikings host Mooresville (Mooresville, NC) to play the Blue Devils in a Greater Metro 4A game on Tuesday, April 1. The Blue Devils enter the game with a record of 6-5. Mooresville won 11-0 in their recent league game against West Cabarrus (Concord, NC)

The Wonders now own a 5-3 record. They play next when they travel to Northwest Cabarrus for a non-league game on Monday, March 31. A.L. Brown will play a Trojans squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Central Cabarrus (Concord, NC). The Trojans record now stands at 6-4.
